Really enjoyed our double room, it was stunning and spacious. An electric kettle, a refrigerator and central heating worked well and the bed was comfy. Location: the hotel was close to the ribble valley as well as the restaurant. Also, the place was at a medium distance from St Wilfrid's Church.

I also dined at the restaurant and was impressed with the quality of the food. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the location of the hotel was great.

While the hotel overall was fabulous, there were a couple of drawbacks. The soundproofing between rooms was not the best, and I had trouble sleeping due to the snoring of the person next door.

That the bed in room 1 was quite creaky, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night's sleep. However, this minor inconvenience didn't overshadow all the other wonderful aspects of our stay.
